This absorbent mat catches dirt, dust and damp right at the door, so less of the outside makes it onto your floors. The soft pile is pleasant underfoot, even barefoot, and the rubber non-slip backing keeps the mat where you put it in a busy doorway. When it has had a hard week, it goes straight into the washing machine.
