Twisted Glass Hourglass, Decorative Sand Timer

The twisted glass body gives this sand timer a sculptural quality, so it holds its own on a shelf even when the sand has run through. Watching it fall is oddly steadying, which is why it works as well beside a desk as it does on a coffee table. The clear glass catches sunlight and lamplight and throws it around the curves.

• Sculptural twisted glass body
• Clear glass that stays bright without discolouring
• Compact enough for a narrow shelf, a desk or a windowsill
• Works on bookcases, coffee tables and among plants and books
• A calm visual marker for a work break or a few minutes of quiet
• Catches and refracts daylight and lamplight across the twisted surface

Set it on the shelf and let the sand mark out a quiet moment.
