Product description
A hand-turned orrery that puts the planets and their orbits on your desk in three dimensions. Turn each arm and the spatial relationships become obvious in a way a flat diagram never manages, which makes it as useful for a curious child as it is satisfying for an adult. The polished brass-effect metal and weighted base give it the presence of a proper instrument.
- Turn each planet arm by hand to explore orbits and relative distances
- Polished metal components with spherical planet representations
- Weighted circular base keeps the model steady in use
- Works without batteries or power of any kind
- Gold-toned, brass-effect finish
- Suits a study, office, classroom or living room shelf
Set it on the desk and give the solar system something you can actually turn.
