Pushed into the soil at the base of a tree or a hedge, this arched spike light throws its beam upwards and gives the garden real depth after dark. The cast aluminium body in matt black all but disappears in daylight, so you see the effect rather than the fitting. Useful along a drive, around a terrace or at the edge of a pond.
